My only redeeming memories of this show are really just the dancing and costumes. The music is great too, but the message of the story was completely lost on all the kids with us. The only reason I knew the story was because it was all the rage when I was in college, and all my music/dance/theater friends were singing it constantly. Seriously, what was Andrew Lloyd Weber smoking when he wrote this?
